Beach Engagement sessions here in Panama City Beach and 30A are some of my favorites! I love meeting couples and learning more about their wedding plans. It’s such an exciting time in a couple’s lives and I love being a part of their wedding journey.

We already talked about what to wear in your engagement session in Volume 1 of the Engagement Album. Now, once you receive your engagement photos – what do you do with them? Here are a few ideas to get the most use out of your engagement photos! 

Save The Dates

Save the dates are the first impression your guests will get of your wedding day. They’ll help set the tone, use your beautiful engagement photos to help do it! They’re a great way to get your date into people’s calendars ahead of time. And there are so many options you can do, such as cards, magnets, digital cards, and more!

Wedding Website

You want your guests to have all the details, so chances are you’ve put together a wedding website. Use your engagement photos to liven it up! People connect more to seeing your face than just words on a screen. Plus, websites look weird without any photos on them!

Wedding Guest Book

Don’t have your guest book yet? Have your photographer use your engagement photos to make one for you! I LOVE making these for my couples!! They send me 25-30 of their favorites and I design a beautiful book they can set out at the reception for guests to sign. Not everyone is all over social media, so it’s another great way to share your images with family and friends that might not have seen them yet! It makes a great coffee table book after your wedding to relive your special day!

PERSONALIZED WEDDING FAVORS & DECOR

Let your imagination run wild (with maybe a little extra help from Pinterest). The latest trend we’ve seen is couples creating wine labels from their engagement photos. They pick an image to represent a style of wine (eg. merlot, chardonnay, etc.) and that helps guests visually distinguish which is which. You can also fill the room with your images incorporated into table centerpieces or along the dessert and gift tables. I like to make stickers for couples to place on their wedding favors!

HANG THEM UP

Whether you print them for the wedding day or just for your home, I am a big advocate that your images are not meant to hide away on your computer’s hard drive. Print a handful of your favorite images that you feel capture the essence of you two as a couple. It’s a simple way to celebrate this exciting season before the two of you become one.
