Early mornings are non-existent when you are at the beach, so here are a few places you need to check out for brunch in PCB. There’s nothing like sipping on a spicy Bloody Mary over shrimp and grits while watching the ocean breeze blow through the palm trees. As a local Panama City Beach photographer, my clients always ask me what my favorite local places are. We have so many great breakfast joints to choose from, but over the years, I’ve found my favorites.

Another Broken Egg Café offers amazing options for brunch in PCB

Another Broken Egg Cafe – although it is a chain and not a local favorite, nothing about their delicious seasonal menu is boring. This is a great place for a group looking for variety since there are so many amazing meal options to choose from. Most people agree, because the line is always long. Here is a tip if you are going to brunch in PCB at Another Broken Egg Café: You can add your name to the waitlist on your way using the Yelp app.

This spot is my favorite spot for when I’m in a savory mood! I’ll pair their delicious Bloody Mary with a Southwest Scrambler, which is a Mexican twist on scrambled eggs filled with chorizo, onions, tomatoes, and green chilies. When my sweet tooth hits, I pair one of their signature mimosas with Croissant French Toast. This indulgence is served with raspberries and a chocolate ganache topping, and comes with eggs and choice of meat as well. You can’t go wrong with either choice!

Big Bad Breakfast is the place to go if you are looking for upscale!

For a bit of old Hollywood flair for brunch, I always head to Big Bad Breakfast in Inlet Beach. When they serve you breakfast by the pool, you feel like Rock Hudson and Doris Day might just show up to film a scene for an old movie. If you are feeling brave, try one of their breakfast margaritas! Pair it with one of their low country skillets and it will fill you up until dinner. With scrambled eggs, shrimp, andouille sausage, cheddar cheese, onions, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, you may not even be able to finish that margarita!

Andy’s Flour Power has the best build your own omelets!

From the moment you walk in, you know this place is different. Andy’s Flour Power has a line out the door every single time I go. It’s no wonder. With an extensive selection of breakfast cocktails and a build-your-own omelets, you can customize your favorite brunch. Or try something off the “Friends With Benedicts” section. They have live jazz music on Saturdays and Sundays. You can also get your fill on bakery goods on the way out the door. Thomas Donut & Snack Shop has the best view for brunch in PCB!

Thomas Donut & Snack Shop has a great atmosphere overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There’s a reason the place is always hopping! Nice to feel the breeze and a view of the water while standing in line! This adorable west end establishment offers a variety of donut flavors from key lime to red velvet. You can easily find a donut that lives up to the hype.   Whether you’re looking for a good meal or something to satisfy your sweet tooth, this place has what you need. I really LOVE their cheese grits topped with bacon.

The Perfect Pig is one of the BEST brunch spots!

With a name like “The Perfect Pig” and a motto of “Praise The Lard!”, you know this restaurant takes the “most important meal of the day” very seriously. I had an “OMG” moment when I first tried the Black & Blue Benedict, which is a spectacular twist on the classic Eggs Benedict, but with filet medallions, roasted romas, and bacon blue cheese hollandaise served over poached eggs. If you don’t take my advice on that one, try the open-faced shrimp sandwich or the homemade quiche. They have three locations, so check to see which one is closest to you
